East Shoreline Catholic Youth Ministry and Peer Ministry Programs
Grade 9 – 12
Please join us in welcoming Oliver Shannon as the new Youth Minister serving the shoreline communities of St. John Bosco Parish, St. George Parish in Guilford, and St. Margaret Parish in Madison! In this new role, Oliver will help bring together the youth of our three parishes, creating opportunities for fellowship and spiritual growth. Many of our young people already know Oliver well! Over the years, he has been very involved in Youth Ministry at St. John Bosco parish, helping to launch the Youth Ministry Bible Study, assisting with Faith Formation and Confirmation sessions, volunteering on mission trips, and supporting numerous other parish and liturgical activities. In addition to his ministry work, Oliver serves as a teacher and coach at East Catholic High School in Manchester. We are excited for him to share his gifts, energy, and enthusiasm with the youth of our parishes and look forward to all that God will accomplish through his ministry!
If your son/daughter are interested in participating in the Peer Ministry Program, please complete the attached application and get it back to me no later than May 22nd so they can be sent to the team prior to the June 1st deadline. Our ninth grade students, if you are interested please submit an application and it will be considered once you have been confirmed in the fall.
